Vacation Overview
See some of Europe’s most precious gems on this magnificent mosaic of European culture. Begin in London, then cross the Channel by ferry and board your motorcoach to Amsterdam where a guided sightseeing tour and canal cruise await. In Germany, travel along the castle-dotted Rhine River and join the Romantic Road as it passes by medieval fairytale towns with half-timbered houses. Overnight in Munich and continue south through the majestic Dolomites, stopping in Cortina, and on to one-of-a-kind Venice. A boat ride along one of the main canals takes you to St. Mark’s Square and a Local Guide tells you the stories behind famous Venetian landmarks. On to Florence, cradle of the Renaissance, for a guided walking tour that features Santa Croce, Piazza Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio, and the Duomo. Heading north, cross the Lombardy plain into Switzerland’s Canton Ticino for a stop in subtropical Lugano before climbing toward St. Gotthard Tunnel and descending to Lake Lucerne. Your vacation ends in Paris, “The City of Light,” where you will see the sights with a Local Guide and enjoy time at leisure to soak in the romantic beauty. The vacation ends with an evening return to London.

Vacation Overview
Visit Italy’s most famous art cities on this popular vacation! Rome is first on the list and included sightseeing of the “Eternal City” features visits of the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. On to charming Orvieto and its gothic cathedral, and Siena, set in the verdant, rolling hills of Tuscany and medieval home to the Palio Horse Race. This is also the famous Chianti wine-producing region, with stops in San Gimignano and in Greve for some wine tasting. Spend two nights in Florence and enjoy the guided walking tour through the old town center. Among the highlights, see the Piazza Santa .Croce, Palazzo Vecchio, and the Piazza del Duomo with the Giotto Campanile. Next on the agenda is Pisa with its famous Leaning Tower, then cross the Apennines to the unique floating city of Venice. Take a boat ride along one of its great canals and reach St. Mark’s Square. Here you can admire the most prominent palaces and the basilica with its golden mosaics. Before returning to Rome, experience another quaint hilltop village with a great history: Assisi. In the beautiful basilica dedicated to St. Francis, marvel at the delicate frescoes by Giotto and take in the peaceful atmosphere.
