Vacation Overview
A well-balanced 13-day vacation in Scandinavia with highlight features like the Flam train included. Start in Stockholm in Sweden and travel via the Lake Area to Helsingborg from where you cross by ferry to Denmark on your way to Copenhagen. Take pictures of the Little Mermaid and sail to Norway. Visit the Heddal Stave Church and Vemork, scene of the daring sabotage action celebrated in The Heroes of Telemark. From Telemark enjoy a scenic drive via the famous Latefoss waterfall and Hardangerfjord to picturesque Bergen. The next two days include a romantic boat cruise on the Sognefjord and a ride on the world-famous Flam train, followed by a relaxing train ride to Oslo, where sightseeing features Frogner Park and the City Hall, and a farewell dinner has been included. |

Vacation Overview
This is a magnificent 10-day journey through the former Habsburg Empire. It visits five of Europe’s most intriguing cities, from Munich with its many historic highlights and the Marienplatz to the “Golden City” of Prague to visit 1,000-year-old Hradcany Castle, St. Vitus Cathedral and more. Travel via Bratislava in the Slovak Republic to Budapest in Hungary and Vienna in Austria. In both Budapest and Vienna a Local Guide will take you into the main cathedrals, and in Vienna enjoy and entire day at leisure, which gives you the possibility to visit Schönbrunn Palace. Of course a romantic cruise on the Danube River is included before entering Sound of Music country on your way to Salzburg, where your guided walking tour includes Mozart’s Birthplace. |
